White Album Ensemble

Beggar Kings opening

For the last 12 years, The White Album Ensemble has been a RIO favorite, with dozens of  concerts logged. performing Beatles Albums that the Beatles themselves never performed live, as a group.

Starting with 2003's sold out "The White Album, Live!" concert, then from "Rubber Soul" through  "Abbey Road", they have satisfied Beatle fans, and fans of the band, who have played with Doobie Brothers, Snail, Little River Band, Paul McCartney, Ravi Shankar, Todd Rundgren, The Tubes, and many more! The theme of "Rock and Roll Circus" hints at a fabulous live music spectacle, an imaginary historical concert of the "Beatles (WAE)"  Performing a selection of Rocking hits from the era with opening act the "Rolling Stones (THE BEGGAR KINGS)", with special guest, "Bob Dylan (Tom Ayres)",  sometime around 1970.  The WAE will perform a variety of the groups favorites from all the shows, Special guests will include Barry Phillips string quartet , and the Pleasure Point Horns- who will also rock with the Beggar Kings.  The first "Rock and Roll Circus" was a unreleased ( till 30 years later) film made by the Rolling Stones in '69, and featured John Lennon, and Keith, and Mitch Mitchell and Eric Clapton ( the Dirty Mac), The Who, Taj Mahal, and of course the Stones.  This one, 46 years later, imagines "flips the acts", with Beatles who actually stopped playing live in 1966 to concentrate on a series of #1 LPS, with Stones opening, with cameos from their buddy Mr. Zimmerman (Tom has gotten 6 million hits for his Dylan '66 you tube vids) ! Circus and/or Rock and Roll 60's attire and spirit encouraged, from kaleidoscopic sunglasses to tie dye to fringe!
