"Gets Back to the White Album"

In 2003, the White Album Ensemble was created, to perform the Beatles “White Album” in its complete order, at the Rio Theatre. The concerts sold out - unadvertised, it was epic, featured video, dancers, a big band, it was great fun, and a great spectacle! The group continued, and added concerts annually of all the other LPs the Beatles did “not” tour or perform. We added Rubber Soul- to Abbey Road, 7 albums cherished by the world. 15 years later, we have gotten a lot tighter, an have a crack pro band firing on all cylinders, and we’ve decided, its the 50th Birthday of our name- and original purpose. Members have come and gone, moved, retired, but a core of longtime friends and bandmates have remained, and added new members who are overqualified, and loving it! We are looking at these records/ concerts like, "What If- The Beatles played it live, what would they do?" So we have been focusing on making a live Rock Concert with the excellent songs. Weeding out a few "non songs" allows us room to perform "Get Back", which a the intended title of what came to be “Let It Be” (the 2nd to last record, though a sad movie, the Songs are top Notch, and form a late Beatles smorgasbord of great songs!)
